Design Engineering/Reverse Engineering

Engineering collaboration is at the core of SAE and one of the key strengths of our long standing business. Our engineering staff live, eat and breathe their craft!

Reverse engineering is an option, as well. We can easily take your existing concepts or samples and create your custom hand drawing.

SAE ENG offers this as documentation of a particular device that has never had documentation to back up  the build. Or that the design is obsolete and customers want to have documentation to resubmit to a new drawing. This also helps to examine the estimated cost, what components it consist of as well.

24-Hour Turn-Around on Quotes

Basically, we will deliver your quote no more than 24 hours after receipt of your information. For example, provide your information by 10am Monday - receive your quote by 10am Tuesday. Depending on your projects' complexity and provided all documentation is clean, expect nothing but a thorough and accurate quote. Our quality and service is in our timely response too!

Electro Mechanical Assembly and Integration

This is a service that can be used for short to long term runs.

SAE prides itself with an outstanding working staff:

• Box assembly consisting of cables and power supplies
• Taking consigned materials and providing quality assembly
• SAE can order the material for the necessary electro mechanical assembly
• SAE does not at this time do any electro mechanical assembly testing

1-Week Prototype Turn-around

Service often means speed. But speed still comes without losing quality. Depending on your projects complexity, we normally turn around prototypes within one-week or less. A 1U chassis and small power supply boxes are a typical example of a one-week turnaround. We always look forward to discussing clients' projects and prototype needs.

Production

The SAE production team supports large to small runs. We handle productions from generic boxes to telco racks to large skins for capital equipment. We also handle chassis builds large and small, as well as robotic support for medical equipment.

SAE production has provided its customers consistent quality for a long time. Our production service is another long-standing feature to SAE's business.

SAE Eng works also with blanket purchase orders and has a 3 month bin stock in place with customers that want product built and release on a beckon-call or ship at the end of each month and all shipped by 90 days.

 

Machining

SAE Engineering Machine Shop does light to mid-level runs as well as prototypes. Our machine shop is used  to working with aluminum, stainless steel and plastics.
