Design Engineering/Reverse Engineering

Engineering collaboration is at the core of SAE and one of the key strengths of our long standing business. Our engineering staff live, eat and breathe their craft!

Reverse engineering is an option as well. We can easily take your existing concepts or samples and create custom hand drawings for you.

If your design is obsolete and does not have documentation to back up the build, SAE can provide this documentation. This service can also help to examine the estimated cost and what components the device consists of.

 

24 Hour Turn-Around on Quotes

We will deliver your quote no more than 24 hours after receipt of your information.* For example, if you provide your information by 10am Monday, you will receive your quote by 10am Tuesday. Our quality and service is always included in our timely response.

*24 hour period subject to project's complexity and provided all documentation is clean

Electro Mechanical Assembly and Integration

This is a service that can be used for short to long term runs.

• Box assembly consisting of cables and power supplies
• Taking consigned materials and providing quality assembly
• SAE can order the material for the necessary electro mechanical assembly
• SAE does not at this time do any electro mechanical assembly testing

SAE prides itself with an outstanding working staff.  

1 Week Prototype Turn-Around

Service often means speed. But speed still comes without losing quality. Depending on your projects' complexity, we normally turn-around prototypes within one week or less. A 1U chassis and small power supply boxes are typical examples of one week turn-around prototypes. We always look forward to discussing clients' projects and prototype needs.

Production

The SAE production team supports small to large runs. We handle productions from generic boxes to telco racks to large skins for capital equipment. We also handle chassis builds large and small, as well as robotic support for medical equipment.

SAE production has provided its customers consistent quality. Our production service is another long-standing aspect of SAE's business.

SAE Engineering, Inc. also works with blanket purchase orders to allow for a 3 month bin stock to be in place for you, ready to be shipped just before you need them. This is part of SAE's dedication to your business.

 

Machining

The SAE Engineering, Inc. machine shop does light to mid-level runs as well as prototypes. Our machine shop is used to working with aluminum, stainless steel and plastics.
